This year’s holiday collection at Cire Trudon is “Astral”, featuring four fragrances: Altaïr (silver; “marries the strength of oud with the delicateness of rose”); Fir (blue; “Hints of myrrh and incense absolute bring depth to the perfume’s head notes – Siberian pine and fir tree”); Gabriel (green; “With notes of leather, cashmere wood, and candied chestnuts, the fragrance weaves happy, cozy memories”) and Gloria (red; “warms the room with the scent of firewood – composed of notes of Indonesian Patchouli, Haitian Vetiver and cedarwood. Wrapped around it are spicy notes of cinnamon, clove and nutmeg, and a hint of citruses”). In 3 sizes, 270g ($148), 800g ($360) and 2.8kg ($750). There’s also a brass candle topper (shown above) for $105 and a taper scented with Gabriel for $55.
