L’Occitane Barbotine, Melilot & Noble Epine ~ new fragrances :: Now Smell This

L’Occitane has launched Forgotten Flowers, a new trio of fragrances. Barbotine, Melilot and Noble Epine were inspired by “forgotten” perfumery notes.

Introducing our enchanting new fragrance collection, meticulously curated from over 800 rare and forgotten flower ingredients in collaboration with experts, ensuring unforgettable scents that will mesmerize your senses.

Barbotine (Golden Button) ~ “A feminine fragrance revealing the unique character of Golden Button, with aromatic and delicate floral notes. This forgotten flower is a symbol of immortality. According to legend, it was used in rituals to prolong life. Having disappeared from perfumery, its natural extract has now been recreated by L’Occitane en Provence.” Additional notes include bergamot, mint, lily of the valley, ambergris, chamomile, cedar, musk and sandalwood.

Melilot (Sweet Clover) ~ “An elegant and intriguing fragrance, where floral and cereal notes entwine, drawing inspiration from a long-forgotten flower that once graced ancient fragrance routines and recipes. Featuring Sweet Clover extract from Provence, complemented by a refreshing green vegetal touch and irresistible milky undertones.” Additional notes include carrot seed, galbanum, frozen pear accord, hazel tree leaf accord, hay, cedar, vetiver and bran.

Noble Epine (Hawthorn aka May Flower) ~ “A tender and delicate fragrance, inspired by a symbolic flower of purity, blended with almond notes and May blossom extract from the South of France, enhanced by fresh fruity and enveloping musky tones.” Additional notes include bergamot, pear, magnolia, peony, blond woods, musk and ambroxan.

L’Occitane Barbotine, Melilot and Noble Epine are available in 50 ml Eau de Parfum and in matching body products.
